KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
PDO Parma Ham, half cut boneless aged 30 months, vacuum packed, weighing nearly kg 4.
Even sweeter yet more unique and precious than the 24 months of the line Grand Reserve Casa Graziano. Absolutely to try!
PRODUCT PROFILE
As with the Parma Ham 24 months, this product hosts the secrets of Parma ham, a careful selection of pigs, little salt and the special, unique and precious air that accompanies its ageing process, Which takes place in the family cellar from 1954 at 700m above sea level., At a first glance its rose colour is even, interspersed by the white of fat. When touched and cut, its texture is homogeneous and its taste is milder and finer. It melts in the mouth!
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE EATING
As stressed by nutritionists, Parma ham is a healthy food for our daily diet. It is rich in vitamins, mineral salts, proteins and unsaturated fatty acids good for our health. The latter include oleic acid, the same monosaturated fat contained in extra virgin olive oil. The complex of B and E vitamins is important for the efficiency of our immune system. A good slice of Parma ham is ideal for a balanced diet.
IN THE KITCHEN
To appreciate the fine taste of Parma ham 30 months at best, it should be cut into very thin slices and eaten raw, alone or with fresh bread, melon but also figs. In this combination it is a unique and matchless dish; it perfectly pairs with red and white wines. We recommend that the external rim is trimmed away little by little as you cut it into slices, to preserve its quality for longer. For your smart aperitif, Parma ham 30 months and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, aged 72 months, are the ideal solution.
ONCE UNPACKED
The product as purchased can be kept in a cold room at a temperature in the range of 4-6 Degrees centigrade for no more than 6 months, always checking the integrity of the vacuum pack. When you will decide to open the packaging and enjoy it, the simplest and most correct way to keep its organoleptic properties intact, is placing it in the fridge with the section cut covered by a film or wrapped up in a cotton dish towel. By doing so the product can be safely preserved for another month.
